About Investmarkets.com broker
Research conducted in South Africa indicates that InvestMarkets is an offshore forex broker headquartered in Belize City. In 2013, it was founded.
Trading instruments offered by InvestMarkets include Forex, Commodities, Indices, Shares, Cryptocurrencies, and ETFs via the MetaTrader 4 platform and the InvestMarketsWebTrader software.
In addition to offering an extensive range of research and educational tools, the broker has a dedicated support team.
A contract between a client and broker allows InvestMarkets traders to profit from price movements by trading in forex and CFDs. CFDs are highly speculative; they carry many risks since the trader must pay high spreads and leverage to enter and exit positions, which can be very costly.
Certain CFDs are prohibited in the US, and CFDs are regulated by ESMA (European Securities and Markets Authority). So, can we trust this broker to make such a speculative trade, and is it reliable? We are about to find out.
Regulation
A sole regulator of InvestMarkets is the Belize International Financial Services Commission (IFSC). It creates a highly trustworthy yet competitive trading environment for clients. Plus, it even presents a business-friendly option for the new brokers.
The company promises to keep client funds separate and adhere to a stringent security policy on its website. These security measures should ensure the safety of traders’ data and funds.
Tradable products
In the website’s top navigation, click the TRADE button to view all the assets available at InvestMarkets. The InvestMarkets website listed 48 currency pairs, 43 cryptocurrency pairs, including min alternatives, and 23 commodities.
Aside from equity CFDs and ETFs, InvestMarkets also offers 21 index CFDs and two ETFs. Many high-quality assets are accessible to new retail traders within the broad asset selection.
Cryptocurrency and commodity choices are among the most competitive compared with all brokers. Trading cryptocurrencies with mini CFDs remains an excellent option for smaller portfolios.
A comprehensive asset list at InvestMarkets would be of great value to traders so that they can see what the broker offers at a glance.
Investmarkets spreads & commissions

For trade executions, a brokerage fee is collected instead of commissions.
On the broker’s website, under the legal documents, you can find InvestMarket’s spread list and fee schedule, transparent and competitive.

Withdrawals are somewhat expensive – 3.5% for credit cards, 30 EUR/USD/GBP for wire transfers, 3.5% for Neteller, and 2% for PerfectMoney and Skrill. According to the Terms and Conditions document, a withdrawal fee of 80 EUR may also be charged in some special circumstances.
The company’s policy is to charge 80 EUR for trading accounts inactive for two months.
In addition to trading fees, traders must consider fees related to account’s inactivity, deposits and withdrawals, account management fees, currency conversion fees, and other fees.
Inactivity charges are high on InvestMarkets. Here are the fees:
- 80 EUR for up to 2 months
- 120 EUR for up to 6 months.
- 500 EUR for 6-12 months
- 1 000 EUR over 12 months.
It will cost 2 000 EUR to reactivate an account.
Leverage
There are many ratios of leverage, for example, 1:1, 1:50, 1:100, 1:500, and even 1:3000. The margin, the amount required from the trader at the beginning of the trade, goes along with leverage. In this way, any credit risk incurred becomes collateral.
By using leverage, traders can open larger positions because the margin requirement is reduced.
InvestMarkets offers traders leverage of up to 1:500.
